Pristine Pools only uses SABS approved fibreglass and resin to reline swimming pools. The fibreglass and resin is suitable for concrete and marbalite pools. The surface of the pool must be clean from any debris and dust so that the fibreglass lining can stick to the surface.
A groove is cut underneath the coping/paving so that the fibreglass can be tucked in. A layer of resin is applied and then a 450gramm fibreglass matt. Another layer of resin is applied on top of the fibreglass matt. The fibreglass underneath the coping/paving is then sealed with a bonding paste. Fibre mosaics is then applied and sealed with clear topcoat. The surface is then smoothed out before the pool coat is applied. The pool must stay empty for at least 4-6 days for the wax in the poolcoat to seal.
